Intentionally creating a future that you desire
In this article, we will cover intentionally creating a future that you desire and how to go about creating that future.
This is a big claim to make, but before we dive into this, let's frame your way of thinking first.
The thing that ultimately determines the success we get is what actions we take to get it, but the root of the success itself is not a result of those actions but something fundamentally deeper than that, and these principles are what we will cover in this email. Your actions will be determined by your choices and your choices will be determined by your values and your values will be actualized through your vision and your vision will be materialized through the clarity you can create through your imagination.
Einstein said, “Between knowledge and imagination, imagination is the greater.”
Why? Because if you can not communicate the value of an idea in your mind to other people, the potential of your idea is worthless, because you need people to help you especially if you have a big vision.
Because it is just too difficult to do everything yourself.
That is why Communication is one of the most important fundamental stages of creating value.
The better you can communicate your message to the world and the better tools you have to do this with, the more successful you will be able to create,
the future that you desire.
We can all agree that you can not have a purpose as an individual if you do not involve other people. Therefore, we need to talk about influence and attention.
Before you can sell anything to anybody you need a percentage of attention from the individual (your prospect) that you hope to persuade. You need to provide them with the context necessary to make an informed buying decision and you need to respect this by providing them with as much valuable information that would genuinely serve them and help them with their needs and we encourage you to adopt this mindset. Ensure that the information you share is freely accessible and comprehensive, addressing the specific problem you aim to solve. Keep in mind the "marshmallow test" discussed earlier, emphasizing a long-term perspective and the importance of cultivating lasting relationships with your customers. Approach your interactions with customers with a mindset of building genuine connections. Choose your customers wisely, and think long-term. Choosing and trying to serve everybody is taking shortcuts. Qualified customers will leave better reviews and will fuel word-of-mouth messaging and the sharing of your message and your mission and vision.
In the next email, we will cover “Creating an Inspiring Mission and Vision for your company”.
See you tomorrow…
